January 2024 Future Expats Meetup

This month's Future Expat meetup is a conversation between Patricia Brooks, the Courage Catalyst, and Dr. Christopher Wells, the Clever Expat. We'll be discussing what it's like to acquire a new language. We'll be reporting from two different countries, France and Spain, and discussing what it takes to build fluency in a new country, a new language, and a new culture. Should you take a class? What should I learn before moving from the US? How long will it take to be comfortable as a non-native language speaker?
